BTS members, like many of us, enjoy curling up on the sofa and watching Netflix. Jungkook has watched and/or recommended the following series and films.
1. Our Beloved Summer
Jungkook had an Instagram Q&A while in Las Vegas. He sought advice from ARMY and crossed out the shows he had previously seen. This renowned K-Drama was one of them.
Our Beloved Summer is about an ex-couple who unwillingly reunites after a documentary they made in high school goes viral. V of BTS performed “Christmas Tree,” a song from the soundtrack to Our Beloved Summer.
2. Twenty-five Twenty-one
Jungkook posted a video on Instagram of himself viewing a scene from Twenty Five Twenty One, a K-Drama set in 2022.
Twenty-five Twenty One is a melodrama about a determined 18-year-old fencer and a 22-year-old guy seeking redemption. They fall in love at the ages of 25 and 21.
3. Bridgerton
Bridgerton fever has officially arrived in South Korea! The Q&A with Jungkook took place shortly after Season 2 of the program premiered.
Bridgerton is a period drama set in Regency England, based on a series of romance novels. Members of the aristocratic Bridgerton family are followed in Seasons 1 and 2 as they negotiate love and high society. Season 1 is for hot romance fans; however, if Jane Austen’s romance is more your style, Season 2 is for you.
4. Paik’s Spirit
Jungkook published an Instagram story with the caption “drinking alone” while in quarantine for COVID-19. The video clip came from Paik’s Spirit on Netflix, a show with celebrity guests, delectable cuisine, and beverages.
This show, hosted by Chef Baek Jong Won, who previously appeared on Run BTS!, is the equivalent of comfort food. It’s the ideal program to watch at home while unwinding.
5. Alice in Borderland
Jungkook’s Netflix watch list includes international hits such as this one from Japan.
Fans of Squid Game and intriguing sci-fi mysteries will enjoy Alice in Borderland. A diverse collection of individuals in an abandoned Tokyo must survive a tournament of perilous games…and each other in this 2020 J-Drama.
