Kpop has seen quite a few controversies over the years since the industry first started booming. From dating scandals to unnecessary comments. There have also been quite a few controversies that were stirred up with outfits as well. Here are 5 controversial outfits from Kpop that were almost neglected!

1) Jisoo:
Blackpink’s Jisoo had quite the stunning outfit that she wore in their song, ‘How you like that.’ She was styled in a beautiful modern hanbok which she rocked. Later, Dahyun and Chaeyoung, idols from the girl group Twice were seen wearing modern hanboks that resemble Jisoo but they weren’t designed by the same stylist. Netizens were quick to criticize the controversial outfits.

2) Pritz:
This idol group stirred up quite a controversy with their outfits that looked quite similar to Nazi uniforms. While the company did apologize for the outfit, they never made any changes to them.

3) Jihyo:
Jihyo, from the girl group Twice was heavily criticized after she was stopped dressed in a stereotypical Native American look for Halloween. She had even introduced herself as “Indian Jihyo”.

4) Yuna:
Yuna, from the popular 4th gen girl group, Itzy, was criticized when she was spotted donned in a rather revealing outfit. She was styled in an edgy all-black leather outfit with some torn stoking. The netizen was especially unhappy since the idol was a minor at the time.

5) Yuijin:
Ive the rookie group, Ive has been gaining quite a lot of fame ever since their debut album Eleven was released. Yuijin, a group member made the headline when fans criticized an outfit that she had donned. The group’s stylist had donned the beautiful idol in a t-shirt over which Yiujin wore what looked like a bra.
