Pop star Taylor Swift has withdrawn her newly re-recorded version of her 2008 second album titled “Fearless” from being considered for both the Grammys and the CMA Awards. Instead, a representative for Republic Records told Billboard that Swift’s newest album, ‘Evermore’, are going to be submitted to the Grammys for consideration altogether eligible categories.

In a statement to Billboard, a representative for Republic Records recently said, “After careful consideration, Taylor Swift won’t be submitting ‘Fearless (Taylor`s Version)’ in any category at this year`s upcoming Grammy and CMA Awards.”Fearless has already won four Grammys including album of the year, also because the CMA Award for album of the year in 2009/2010 and remains the foremost awarded country album of all time,” the representative added.

In July 2020, Taylor Swift released her album “Folklore,” which was followed by “Evermore” five months later. Taylor recently won her third Album of the Year award at the 2021 Grammys for “Evermore,” making history. Earlier this year in April, Taylor released “Fearless (Taylor’s Version),” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, 12 years after the original version was released in November 2008. The newer album includes six new tracks and became her ninth album to debut at No. 1, according to Billboard.
