Shantanu Mukherjee, also known by his stage name Shaan, is one of Bollywood’s most talented Indian playback singers. With his wonderful voice on the most popular love songs, he is well-known in the Bollywood industry. Shaan was born in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, India, on September 30, 1972.
His late father Manas Mukherjee and his mother Sonali Mukherjee gave birth to him. Shaan established himself on the map by drawing inspiration from his father, a music director. His music career began to take off in 2001, after making his debut in Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi (1999).
Hits like Woh Ladki Hai Kahan (Dil Chahta Hai: 2001) and ‘Apni Yaadon Ko’ (Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat: 2001) helped him get his start. He’s been given a lot of compliments for his work in different genres like Pop, Jazz, Rock, and Dance. ‘Golden Voice of India’ and ‘Magician of Melody’ are two of them.
His talent and versatility are shown by his ability to sing in a variety of musical styles. Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Aamir Khan are among the Bollywood stars for whom he has performed. He is also a multi-award-winning singer, having won Zee Cine and Filmfare awards, among others. He has achieved immense success with blockbuster singles like ‘Chand Sifarish’ and ‘Jab Se Tere Naina.’
