An English pop and R&B singer named Zayn is Zain Javadd Malik. For the 2010 season of the British music competition television program The X Factor, Zayn made a solo audition. One Direction, a five-piece boy band that became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time, was formed after he was eliminated and invited back into the competition. In March 2015, he disbanded the band and inked a deal with RCA Records to release a solo album.
Zayn has won numerous honors, including the American Music Award and the MTV Video Music Award. In addition, he is the only performer to have twice taken home the Billboard Music Award for New Artist of the Year: once in 2013 while a part of One Direction and once in 2017 as a solo artist.
Zayn Malik’s Top 7 Hollywood Songs
Pillowtalk
Pillowtalk solidified Zayn’s break from his boy band persona of being squeaky clean. No other than his even sexier girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, was featured in the seductive song’s music video, earning it our top ranking.
Dusk Till Dawn Featuring Sia
Zayn’s vocals in this song wonderfully complement Sia’s, which is not something that happens very frequently. His rendition of this song is outstanding and demonstrates his range in handling any melody.
Lucozade
Anything but a filler track, the twelfth track on Zayn’s debut album, is a gem. Because there isn’t a chorus, the music takes on a fun new twist, and the lyrics get their moment to shine. This upbeat arrangement has an 80s club vibe.
Drunk
Zayn hones into his R&B genre inspiration in this adult-themed banger. From the lyrical references to his overall sound, there is no denying that Zayn finally broke through his art with singles such as Drunk.
Rear View
With this song, Zayn seems prepared to move forward on his own and let go of some things. However, everyone can still relate to this despite the possibility that he was digging at his former bandmates.
I Don’t Wanna Live Forever, Featuring Taylor Swift
Zayn appears on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack as if he didn’t already have enough s*x appeal. Being eclipsed by Taylor Swift’s star power also requires a lot of grit.
Wrong
Some songs can mean little to be memorable; Zayn excels at this in Wrong. The former boy band member outshines everything with a fantastic singing performance.
