The 17-year old recently made her acting debut with a music video titled ‘Tum Mere Paas’. The romantic number featured Bhavin Bhanushali along with her. The song directed by Dhruwal Patel and Jigar Mulani has already crossed 700K views on YouTube. Produced by Shivam Singh’s TOBC Entertainment, notable singer Mohammed Irfan has lent his voice for this soulful song.
Taking acting inspiration from Alia Bhatt, Pragya says, “An actor’s job is to emote as per the situation given. I have always been fond of Alia Bhatt and the way she acts in films is effortless. I look up to her and I hope I get to meet her.” Apart from this, Pragya even stated that it was hard to convince her parents for choosing acting as a career option. “My parents saw how passionate I was about acting. Giving me an opportunity, they enrolled me in an acting school after which Shivam sir discovered my talent”, said Pragya.
It was during one of her auditions in 2019, Pragya was noticed by Shivam. The producer earlier worked as a casting director and he was completely in awe of Pragya’s performance. With the release of ‘Tum Mere Paas’, Pragya Kodile has been getting overwhelming response from her near and dear ones. “I feel grateful every day and it feels blessed when your family and friends praise your work”, she added. After this song, the aspiring actress is keen to work on other music videos.
