Narendra Chanchal the acclaimed Bhajan singer passed away today at a hospital in Delhi.
The renowned singer has sung many devotional and bhajan songs in Bollywood. He was 80. He was admitted to the Delhi Apollo Hospital on 27 November and passed away today after a two month battle in the hospital.
Chanchal’s songs that linger in the ears even today include Chalo Bulava Aaya Hai, Beshak Mandir Masjid Todo, Main Benaam Hogaya etc.
From Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to many celebrities from the Bollywood industry have been paying their last respects to the departed soul.
