For the TakaTak Manch, Amit will not only play but also interact with his fans in a live interactive session. Amit has stated that as an artist, he is delighted to explore new mediums in order to reach a larger audience with his music.
When friend and playback vocalist Shilpa Rao submitted his name to film director Anurag Kashyap, he was introduced to the world of film music. For his next project, the latter was looking for a new composer with a distinct perspective. Kashyap approached Trivedi after meeting him and gave him the opportunity to compose the soundtrack for Dev.D. Despite the fact that it was supposed to be his debut, Dev.D was delayed in production and had to be put on hold for a while.
“He focus on crafting music that is lovely and that listeners will be able to connect with – be it a devotional song, a romantic piece, or a snappy dance number,” Amit said of the partnership. “However, the lockdown has limited our ability to communicate with one another. As someone who is enthusiastic about music, he is excited to experiment with different mediums to help my music reach a wider audience.”
