Behemoths of K-pop BTS is the tenth most-streamed artist on Spotify and the first Asian act to accomplish so. This comes after ‘Spotify Wrapped’ ranked him the world’s third most-streamed artist in 2021. This is a massive step forward for the group. In 2018 and 2019, they were the 18th and 6th most-streamed artists on Spotify, respectively. In 2020, they will be the 18th and 6th most-streamed artists. The septet’s song “Dynamite” was the 22nd most-streamed song on Spotify, while “Butter” was the 16th most-streamed song globally.
Because all of the other artists are solo artists, BTS is the only group to make the Top 10. With 23.3 billion streams, BTS is in the second position, only behind Taylor Swift’s 25.8 billion. In the meantime, the Korean Business Research Institute has announced the January brand reputation rankings for all celebrities!
