Arijit Singh is an Indian singer and music composer. He is particularly famous for his Hindi and Bengali songs but has also performed in various other Indian languages. He was also awarded a National Award and six Filmfare Awards.
The 35-year-old singer is quite the sensation in the youth of India. Arijit did not receive much fame before the release of “Tum Hi Ho” and “Chahun Main Ya Naa” in 2013. But, he was declared the most-streamed Indian artist of 2020 – 2021 by Spotify. Besides, He is the most followed Asian soloist on Spotify.
In January this year, Singh sang 2 songs “Soch Liya” and “Aashiqui Aa Gayi” from the movie Radhe Shyam. Arijit Singh has also given soul to the “Kesariya” from the movie Brahmāstra.
Back in 2014 Arijit married the love of his life Koyel Roy, and have two children. He currently
resides in Andheri, Mumbai. Besides being a phenomenal singer, he is also a badminton player, a writer, a movie enthusiast and a documentary maker.
Singh was awarded the Wizcraft Honour for the Best Live Performer and was on the list of the top 10 artists from across the world to be featured at The SSE Arena, Wembley in the SSE Live Awards 2016. At the 66th National Film Awards of 2019, he won the Best Male Playback Singer for “Binte Dil” from Padmaavat.
