BlackPink girl Jisoo is the only member of the girl group who has yet to release music as a solo artist. Talking about her solo debut, which will take place later this year. She seems like she has yet to find a clear direction on what kind of sound and genre she wants to pursue. She is torn between different options, including what kind of music she listens to, what she can sing and what she hopes to do.
The idol added that she likes songs full of instruments. She was also a fan of bands and rock music. But aside from what she likes about her, Jisoo also takes into account what exactly the listeners want from her. Jisoo says that “a chaos of conflicting questions” runs through her head
Jisoo then addressed the burden she felt of being in the spotlight. The singer likes to be creative and has fun working on a song alongside professionals. But she finds herself struggling with questions of purpose and under pressure from her enormous popularity. Jisoo says that what she really likes about her is still a “mystery“. Sure, she loves being on stage and performing, but that doesn’t mean she loves having a lot of attention drawn to her all the time. According to Jisoo, this is what sets her apart from the rest of BLACKPINK. Other members enjoy being in the spotlight more than her.
Their energy increases when they’re surrounded by fans, so when they walk off the stage and it’s quiet, they feel empty. Jisoo is under more pressure when she is on stage, as she is afraid of making mistakes. She finds it hard to relax and really enjoy herself because she sometimes feels more like an exam.
