J-Hope, a member of BTS, has consistently excelled. Born on February 18, 1994, Jung Hoseok is a South Korean rapper, singer, dancer, songwriter, record producer, and the undisputed source of all things positive and uplifting for his fellow members of the legendary septet BTS as well as their unfathomably sizable fanbase, known as ARMYs, dispersed throughout the world. But that’s all the knowledge we already have.

J-Hope released his first full-length album, “Jack In The Box,” on July 15, becoming the first member of his group to do so. It is understandable that the album shattered several records just a few weeks after its release.

Since it so clearly goes back to the foundations of what being J-Hope stands for, it is impossible that any other album start could be as flawless as this one. In a reference to the story of “Pandora’s Box,” where “hope” is the only one left, a woman’s voice reads the storyline. It is brilliant and perfectly reflects the album’s content. Not to mention, once the idol revealed his dark self to the public, his MORE music video became a sensation among the fanbase. Since then, fans have marveled at his transformation and adored the music video for the album’s first single, “Arson,” which literally set the internet on fire.

Below are some outfits worn by BTS J-Hope during the “Jack in the Box” era.
