Recentlt, American singer and social media star-personality Dixie D’Amelio addressed rumors of a BLACKPINK collaboration. Dixie D’Amelio guested on ‘The Zach Sang Show ‘ to promote her debut album, a letter to me.
There,the singer was asked about her relationship with BLACKPINK. The hosts went ahead and questioned her. Here’s their convo:
Dan Zolot: You recently followed every member of BLACKPINK on Instagram.
Dixie D’Amelio: Oh my God!
Zach Sang: She has taste.
Dixie D’Amelio clarified that she had followed the BLACKPINK members a long while ago and the “news” keeps resurfacing every couple of months.
The singer also cleared up and mentioned that the news about a potential collaboration between her and BLACKPINK is just a rumour. Also added that she is actually a BLINK like the rest of us, so she is following them.
“It gets posted every couple months, and they’re like, ‘Collab between BLACKPINK and Dixie D’Amelio…’ I’m like, ‘No,’ and so I respond… I like quote-tweeted it with a link to my album as a joke. They’re like, ‘You’re using them!’ I’m like, ‘Because you guys are making things up. I just follow them,” said Dixie D’Amelio.
Dixie also added that she had met the Blackpink members in person and as expected, they were “very sweet!”
