BTS has gained attention from some of the largest events and celebrities in the world since making its debut in 2013, and its popularity has surged around the globe. The group’s invitation to the 2019 GRAMMYs acknowledged their global domination in particular. Following that, the group attended a number of the events, was nominated, performed, hosted, and stole the show… but they have yet to actually take home an award. Jungkook, the newest member of BTS, recently talked with Reverse. The superstar was candid about the group’s experiences at the GRAMMY Awards while also discussing his English abilities, the other members, and his musical path. In the interview, Jungkook said that the group’s most recent album, PROOF, is the source of his inspiration.

The following interview question clarified that his PROOF (motivation) must come more from the ensemble as a whole than from receiving any accolades, such as a GRAMMY. Although they didn’t win, Jungkook noted that they still had status and appeal. The following portion of his response, however, really demonstrated the idol’s maturity and actual character. Despite the group’s increasing notoriety, Jungkook was significantly less agitated or outraged about the fact that they hadn’t yet won the award. Then, Jungkook said that, in his opinion, there were more significant ways for them to demonstrate their abilities as artists, which would mean more to them. He didn’t discount the incident, either, and acknowledged that it was an uncommon encounter.

The idol’s reaction to the query received nothing but praise from the ARMYs, with many calling it “hot.” It demonstrated Jungkook’s commitment to BTS’s music as well as the fact that he doesn’t let accolades affect him.
