Harisu is a South-Korean pop singer, model, and actress. She was assigned male at birth but identified herself as a female from a very young age and underwent s*x reassignment surgery in the 1990s.
Lady is the first-ever South-Korean all-transgender band. The band debuted in 2005. The band consists of four members, named Sinae, Sahara, Binu, and Yuna.
Choi Han-bit is a model and member of Mercury, a girl group. Choi received recognition for being open about her transgender status. She was fully supported by her parents for her gender confirmation surgery in 2006.
