Kelly Clarkson has been a long-time gossip element for her weight. Since the time she hit the limelight with her amazing showcase in the American Idol. However, she was definitely called out by her fans the whole time. She has never been very aggressive towards her haters, however, and has tackled the body-shaming in an utterly graceful way.

So, today we are here with her body transformation journey, that too in her own narrative.

A change in her lifestyle

“I had an autoimmune disease and a thyroid problem that started in 2006,” the singer once said. “I know the industry loves the weight gone, but for me, it wasn’t really (about) the weight. For me, it was ‘I’m not on my medicine anymore.”

Workout

Kelly Clarkson is super relatable when it comes to diet and workout. She also struggles with it as we all do, and it’s evident when she tweeted in 2018, “This just in,” she tweeted in November 2018. “I still hate working out. I’m sweaty, red, and not any thinner. People say it’s good for your heart…. but people also say red wine is good for your heart. I mean, I’m just stating facts here people. Who am I to ignore science?!”

Industry pressure

In an interview with Glamour UK, she said, “I felt more pressure from people actually when I was thin when I was really thin, and not super healthy because I just was worn out,” She added, “It was more of magazines shoved in front of you and, ‘This is what you’re competing with and we’ve got to compete with it.’ I can’t compete with that.”

However, with all that, the woman never stopped inspiring us, and we can’t really help but admire her brilliant confidence and empowering statements. What do you think?
