Before we start, let’s get to know what exactly is Fame Gurukul. It was a reality show on Sony TV. The basic concept of the show was to select a pair of India’s Best singers/performers.
Arijit Singh started his musical journey in classical music when he was very young. He had his maternal side of the family in music and so we can say that music was in his veins. He got trained by the three Hazari brothers. They were his musical mentors and tutors who taught him classical music and how to play musical instrument tabla.
As it is said, not everyone has success lying at their foot and one has to work hard to achieve it and the same happened to Arijit. His struggle was not a bed of roses and was not easily directed into music, but had to go through a lot of struggles and failure. He participated in the show Fame Gurukul and was the top 6th participant of the show. Later he went to 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil and he won.
Arijit Singh had to go through a lot of hardship but was noticed for his voice in the movie Aashiqui 2, which brought him very close to the people’s hearts. After that, he started delivering one hit after the other. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Tum Hi Ho, Ye Fitoor are some of his many superhits.
Tell us in the comments below isn’t Arijit Singh the best to date singers of B-town?
