In today’s time, songs are made with auto-tuning and lacks originality. Sonu Nigam hails from a generation that had great lyrics and songs that were quite organic and worth every second.

The guy has been gifted with an amazing voice and is one of the best singers. Sonu Nigam has music in his blood as his father was also a performer and he has been singing since a very young age. He’s one of the highest-paid singers in the industry. His debut performance was Mohammed Rafi’s song Kya Hua Tera Wada and he stole the show. And that is when he set out on a musical expedition.

Sonu Nigam has been trained in classical music by Ustad Maha Kanjar Naveed and had his first break for Janam but the movie was never released. Later for Gulshan Kumar song, Achha Sila Diya Tumne was his superhit and that is how Sonu came into limelight. The song Sandese Aate Hain got him new fame altogether. And his song Yeh Dil from Pardes was remarkable along with title track for Kal Ho Na Ho. He has also worked with AR Rahman in Saathiya as well as composers like Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for Tanhayee.

Sonu Nigam has worked with many legends like Lata Mangeshkar and he is a true living legend. But of late, he has not been singing much for Bollywood and we do miss him a lot.
