Seventeen, Stray Kids And TXT Have Been Certified Platinum And Double Platinum, Take A Look

Seventeen, Stray Kids, and TXT earn RIAJ album certifications, check out.

On September 9, 2022 – The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) certified and honored the songs which crossed streaming milestones in Japan for the month of August. Certified as gold at 100,000 albums, platinum at 250,000 albums, and double platinum at 500,000 albums, respectively.

Seventeen is a South Korean boy-band formed by Pledis Entertainment which consists of thirteen members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. 

Firstly, Seventeen received platinum certification as ‘SECTOR 17’ crossed 250,000 units sold in Japan. This is currently the group’s sixth platinum certification and 10th album certification in all.

Talking about Stray Kids, it is also South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment which comprises of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N

While Stray Kids received its first-ever platinum certification for this update with ‘CIRCUS’. It marked it’s their fourth RIAJ album certification till now.

Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together, commonly known as TXT, a South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Music. The group consists of five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and HueningKai.

TXT received their very first double platinum certification with ‘GOOD BOY GONE BAD’. Overall, the group now has six RIAJ album certifications in their career.
