Call him a ‘Rap Monster’ or ‘Real Me’, as an artist, RM has displayed his diversity. RM has come a long way from displaying his solo tracks to performing for BTS.
RM has stated numerous times that he does not allow himself to be boxed in, which is why his solo releases are so eagerly awaited by fans eager to hear his new sound. Fans get to see RM’s abilities fully shine on his solo tracks because he does a little bit of everything. Here are a few of his most well-known solo efforts, which demonstrate his wide range of abilities.
Too Much (2014)
“Too Much,” a song published on BTS’s sound cloud in November, explores RM’s pain and anguish following his debut as an idol and the harsh criticism he received from both former friends and admirers in the underground hip hop community. “Too Much” remains the most visceral depiction of his emotions at the time.
Monterlude (January 17, 2014)
Although his pre-debut tune “Suicide” was also fully English, “Monterlude” is RM’s first English song released after the creation of BTS. The song is fairly short (under two minutes), yet it’s a lovely track with a fantastic beat and soothing voices.
This narrows down that RM has given some major solo hits making a remarkable appearance of himself in k-pop and worldwide.
