Young heartthrob Justin Bieber has been one of the top-selling artists since he emerged on the scene and has amassed a legion of loyal fans. Justin has nailed it with his amazing songs from Baby to Yummy. As per reports in Forbes, Justin is once again comfortable at No. 1 on the Hot 100 this week with his new single Stay. Hence, Bieber breaks out of a tie with one of the most successful musicians of all time, Usher.
In the last frame, the Canadian pop icon was tied with Usher with 273 weeks between Nos. 1 and 10, but now they are no longer on the same level as one another. Bieber stands alone with the fourth-most weeks in the top 10, while Usher has been pushed back to fifth place on this all-time list.
Not many are aware but Usher helped make Justin the household name he is today. Shortly after being discovered online, the then-13-year-old was flown to Atlanta, where he performed for the R&B crooner. It didn’t take long for Usher to sign him to a record deal a short time later, and now, more than a decade later, Bieber has surpassed the man who came before him, at least in one regard.
