Recently, the Apple Original Films announced that they have earned the global rights to a new feature documentary: Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me, directed and produced by Alek Keshishian.

While teasing, Apple mentioned “After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom.” Further added, “But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light.”

With the documentary, the star will give us a rare glimpse into her life as a singer, actress, producer, entrepreneur and activist.

As we know, over the past few years, Selena has been in the spotlight. She has been through a very harsh breakup with Justin Bieber back in 2013 and got herself checked into The Meadows rehabilitation center in 2014. 

Then, in 2017 the singer she had undergone a kidney transplant as a result of Lupus. She also went on to receive her first Grammy nominee in 2021 and lately, she has been working on the series Only Murders in the Building with Martin Short and Steve Martin.

Recently, Gomez was seen teasing the project on her Instagram with a video of her documentary playing on a small screen. Captioning the photo, Selena added, “Wanna hear a part to my story…My Mind & Me coming soon to @AppleTvPlus.”

A release date for Selena Gomez’s documentary has yet to be announced.
