Falguni Pathak was born in a large family with four sisters, a mother, and a father. She is the 5th daughter of her parents, born in Vadodara, Gujarat of India. Falguni was expected to be born as a boy. She has an age difference of 8 years from her 4th sister. As the reports suggest, Falguni Pathak was always dressed as a boy during her childhood, which is the major reason for her unique dressing sense. Also, her elder sisters used to dress her like a boy while playing with her during Garba in childhood.
Falguni was born in Mumbai and completed her education in Mumbai. She made her Bollywood debut song Kya Mil Gayi Dusri in the film Aandhiyan in the year 1990.
