The ICC T20 World Cup semi-final game between Pakistan and Australia was certainly one of the best and most interesting games of the tournament. The stability provided by David Warner in the top order followed by some incredible power-hitting my Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoinus resulted in Australia sealing a spot in the final against New Zealand on November 14, 2021.
However, amidst all this, David Warner has once again managed to ignite the debate around the ‘spirit of cricket’ after he whacked a double-bouncer delivery by Hafeez for six. This didn’t go down well for Gautam Gambhir who thought that the action was plain and simply pathetic. Check out his tweet below –
