Reportedly Ravindra Jadeja was precluded until the end of the Asia Cup followed by a severe ‘right knee injury’, BCCI gave on the sparks and details on Friday. 

Jadeja is as of now under the oversight of the BCCI clinical group. The BCCI called for Axar Patel as Jadeja’s swap until the end of the game, while Jadeja undergoes treatment. Axar was earlier speculated as one of the backup players in the crew and will join the crew soon.

BCCI said in a statement, saying, “The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Axar Patel as the replacement for Ravindra Jadeja in the ongoing Asia Cup. Ravindra Jadeja has sustained a right knee injury and is ruled out of the tournament. He is currently under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. His replacement, Axar Patel was earlier named as one of the standbys in the squad and will join the team in Dubai soon,” as quoted by NDTV. 

As per stats, Jadeja scored with a knock of 35 however went wicketless against Pakistan. However, in the game with Hong Kong, he took one wicket but wasn’t able to serve the team with his batting. That’s that, Team India might take on either Pakistan or Hong Kong in their first match of Super 4 stage of Sunday.
