A big development coming in from Australian cricket.
For a fairly long time, Tim Paine has been leading the Australian cricket team in the Test format. While the team has achieved some incredible results under his leadership, there have also been some humiliating losses, as cited by cricket experts from all over the globe.
And now, the latest buzz is that Tim Paine has officially resigned as Australian Test captain. The decision comes soon after Tim got involved in a sexting scandal for apparently sending ‘lewd’ messages to a lady from the Australian cricket board. Tim, reportedly mentioned about how his actions back then doesn’t fit in the ‘standards’ of an Australian captain.
Well, it will be interesting to see who takes over with some critical matches coming in for the team in the near future.
