Know the latest about Praggnanandhaa's big win in Chess

A wonderful and proud moment for Indian sports.

16-year-old Indian Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa stunned and shocked world champion, Magnus Carlsen, in the eighth round of the ongoing Airthings Masters, a popular online rapid chess competition.

It is to be noted that before the defeat, Carlsen had racked up three wins in a row and was high on confidence. However, things changed drastically for him against 16-year-old Praggnanandhaa and ended up losing against him.

It was Praggnanandhaa’s first win in any form of chess against the Norwegian and came on the back of having lost three games in a row.

We congratulate Praggnanandhaa and we wish him many more such victories in the future.
