Congratulations: Ons Jabeur becomes first Arab player to reach Grand Slam semi-final

A wonderful update coming in for all fans and admirers of Tunisian seed Ons Jabeur.

Tunisian third seed Ons Jabeur, the highest surviving seed in women’s draw recovered from losing her first set at this year’s Wimbledon to beat Czech Marie Bouzkova 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 on Tuesday. With this win, she reached her first-ever Grand Slam semi-final. For the unversed, Jabeur became the first Arab player irrespective of gender to reach a Grand Slam semi-final. Jabeur is all set to meet 103rd-ranked Tatjana Maria in Saturday’s final.
