Covid-19 scare in IPL once again

The first ODI between Sri Lanka & Bangladesh is all set to take place in a few hours.

Sometime back, there was a cloud of uncertainty regarding the game between Sri Lanka & Bangladesh as two SL players & a coach had tested positive for Covid-19. However now as per the latest reports in ESPN Cricinfo, we hear that the first ODI between Sri Lanka & Bangladesh will take place as scheduled since two of the three members of the Sri Lanka contingent who tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday night returned with negative test reports on Sunday.

Earlier, doubt had been cast on the fate of the series when three positive results came one after the other. Reportedly, few medical professionals from the Sri Lankan contingent too expressed their unhappiness regarding the bio bubble that had been set up for the touring party.

But now, we hear that the game will be played as per schedule.
