Dinesh Karthik issues public apology for sexist “neighbour’s wife” comment, check out what he said

Check out why Dinesh Karthik apologized in public for his alleged sexist comment

Dinesh Karthik is one of the finest dynamic cricketers of the modern-day generation and not just for his cricketing abilities, the batsman is also well known for his sense of humour and wit.

Recently, while doing the commentary of India Vs New Zealand WTC Final, Dinesh cracked up many people with his wit and intelligence and we loved it. However recently, he ended up saying one thing that didn’t really go down well with netizens and women in particular.

During a cricket game between India and England, he was quoted as saying,

“Batsmen and not liking bats, they go hand in hand. Most of the batters don’t seem to like their bats. They either like another person’s bat. Bats are like a neighbour’s wife. They always feel better,”

Soon after, he issued an apology on air during his next commentary stint and was quoted as saying,

“I want to apologise for what happened last game. It’s not really what I intended. I just got it all wrong. I apologise to everybody. It’s definitely not the right thing to say.”
