F1 champion Sebastian Vettel announces retirement after 2022 season

Top Formula 1 personalities have been praising Sebastian Vettel after the announcement of his retirement, at the end of this season.

Sebastian Vettel is a German Racing Driver who competes in Formula One for Aston Martin, having formerly driven for BMW Sauber, Toro Rosso, Red Bull, and Ferrari.

Sebastian made his debut at the 2007 United States Grand Prix. He is set to complete 300 races, before he bids farewell at the Abu Dhabi GP in November.

Vettel has won all four of his World Championships for Red Bull between 2010 and 2013. The team that accompanied him in his success were the first to express their gratitude on the news of his retirement.

In 2005, Sebastian tried out for Williams at Jerez after winning the Rookie Cup award in the Formula 3 Euro Series. McLaren have always been a rival of Vettel, more so during his time at Red Bull, but they also sent their well wishes immediately.

Besides, there has been an On & Off relationship between Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari, but his previous team posted good wishes and a classy farewell message, putting old differences aside.

Martin Brundle also paid tribute to the four-time World Champion. Also, we can all agree that this won’t be goodbye to Sebastian Vettel, instead just a mere farewell.
