The FIFA World Cup 2022 is certainly the most admired and followed tournament that we had in the globe. Football, as we all know is the most followed sport globally and hence, people from different places and continents can relate with the game. In this year of the tournament, all the squads have done pretty well to compete against each other. While Brazil and Portugal’s early elimination was a shocker, fans were happy to realize that Argentina once again got an opportunity to play in the final and prove their mettle. They had other worthy opponents in the form of France, Croatia and Morocco and eventually, it was France who competed with them in the all-important final game.
Well, not just in places in other parts of the world, even our favourite B-Town celebs are going gaga for the sport. It was Deepika Padukone who unveiled the trophy as announced earlier. Our very own legendary Mohanlal was himself present in the ground to see the game. Actress Keerthy Suresh too seemed to be pretty vocal when it came to cheering for her favourite Messi and even ‘chocolate boy’ Kartik Aaryan traveled all the way over there to experience the game live.
