An important update coming in for all fans and admirers of Indian women’s Hockey.
India lost 3-4 to New Zealand in their final Pool B match. However, the good news is that they still managed to qualiy for the crossovers of the FIH Women’s World Cup as the third best team from their group in Amstelveen. New Zealand topped the pool with seven points ahead of England (4), while India and China finished on two points apiece but progressed on account of a better goal difference. For the unversed, the winner of the crossover matches will grab the remaining four quarterfinal spots.
Here’s wishing team India good luck going forward. Let us know your views in the comments section below and for more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
