The disrupting invasion of a snake into the Barsapara Stadium during the second T20I match between India and South Africa was one of the most unusual catches to happen on a cricket field in recent diaries.

The Players noticed a snake on the field after the seventh over of India’s innings, and soon after that, the game was put to a halt. Wayne Parnell was the one who caught the snake at first sight, and KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock were seen conversing as the match ceased.

The snake was eventually removed from the field when ground staff arrived with sticks and a bucket. Several viewers and fans including former West Indies pacer Ian Bishop were regaled by the incident.

However, In what ended up being a thrilling run-in, the interlude was only a minor interference in between the match.

India won the series by a score of 16 runs to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead, but not before South Africa gave them a tight end to buck up.
