#BattleCovid19: 2020 Tokyo Olympics will be postponed

Big news coming in from the Indian contingent of the Tokyo Olympics. As per the latest reports in NDTV Sports, Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has slammed the rules by the Tokyo Olympics Community citing them as unfair. They mentioned how the new rules will make athletes lose three critical days of training.

IOA President Narinder Batra was quoted as saying,

“Athletes are allowed to arrive in the Games village only five days before their event. Now three days will be wasted, this is the time the athletes need to be moving towards their mode to peak… highly unfair for Indian athletes, who have worked hard for five years, to be discriminated against just five days before the Olympics.”
