The first test match between India and England saw both India and England competing hard from the very first day. However, it was England who had the last laugh as they managed to win the first test match.
England scored 578 in the first innings to which India responded with a fighting 337.
India came back harder and bowled out England for just 178 in the second innings and while chasing a target of 420, India were bowled out for 192 on day 5.
England now lead the test series 1-0.
It will be interesting to see how India look forward to making a comeback after this defeat.
