The second test match between India and England saw both India and England competing hard from the very first day. India have made their intent very clear when it comes to expressing that they want to bounce back after the first test defeat.

Batting first, India scored 300/6 at stumps on day 1 after 88 overs and special mention for Rohit Sharma’s 161 (231) balls. On day 2 India finished with a final score of 329.

On the 2nd day itself, India managed to bowl England out for just 134 and now India are currently batting in their second innings. India are currently 54/1 and have a healthy lead of 249 runs.

Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara are currently batting at the crease.
