India has made a strong comeback after defeating England by 7 wickets in the 2nd T20 International. The likes of Virat Kohli coming back to form is a huge positive for Team India, and the scintillating debut of Ishan Kishan must be giving selectors another positive headache. From the English perspective, Jason Roy and Jofra Archer have been their biggest positives.
Team News:
India- Rohit Sharma is all set to return for the 3rd T20 International. It would be interesting to see who he partners on the top of the order. With Ishan Kishan scoring runs for fun, it will be difficult to drop him from the opening slot. On the other hand, KL Rahul’s run (except for the last two games) has been very consistent. It will be interesting to see who opens the betting with Rohit Sharma. Another possibility of a change could be the return on Axar Patel, because as per reports the next match would be played on a pitch with red soil, which means more assistance to spin. He is likely to replace Suryakumar Yadav
Our Predicted Playing XI- Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul/Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli (C), Rishabh Pant (WK), Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav/ Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal.
England- One of the major changes England would be looking for is to bring back Moeen Ali. As there is a chance of a spin friendly track for the 3rd T20, the spinning duo of Moeen Ali and Rashid Khan can trouble the Indian batsmen. Not to forget the finishing skills of Moeen Ali batting at number 7. There are reports of Jofra Archer being rested, so in all likelihood Mark Wood will replace him.
Our Predicted XI- Jonny Bairstow, Jason Roy, Dawid Malan, Eoin Morgan (C), Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler (WK), Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Jofra Archer/Mark Wood, Chris Jordan and Adil Rashid.
Our fantasy tips for the 3rd T20
Wicket Keepers- Jonny Bairstow and Rishabh Pant
Jonny Bairstow has shown good signs of form and can always be lethal given his abilities with the bat.
Rishabh Pant is an excellent option. Pant will keep wickets for India and his promotion to number 4, backed by excellent form makes him a must buy.
Batsmen- Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli, Dawid Malan, Jason Roy and Shreyas Iyer (Option)
Ishan Kishan’s last match performance has put him in strong contention to replace Rahul. We back him to give India another solid start and some valuable fantasy points in your team.
Dawid Malan has been pivotal for the English side and is currently the top-rated batsman in the ICC Men’s T20 Rankings. His from in the last two games is another major reason to back him for our fantasy teams.
Virat Kohli’s 73* for enough evidence that the King is back. After a poor run of form, King Kohli has been able to show some sparks and we feel he will continue to do so in the rest of the series.
Jason Roy has always been dangerous at the top of the order and his recent form does suggest this. He can be a valuable asset after seeing his batting in the last two games.
All Rounders- Washington Sundar and Ben Stokes (Option)
Washington Sundar could make it to your XI, considering how handy his off spin can come into play with the English team comprising majorly of left-handed batsmen and reports suggesting spin favorable conditions in the 3rd T20 could be another major reason to pick him. Washington Sundar has also shown his batting skills which proves his importance in the fantasy team
Bowlers- Yuzvendra Chahal, Adil Rashid, Jofra Archer and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Option)
Yuzvendra Chahal should be in your fantasy teams. His wicket-taking ability can be a host of fantasy points in your team. Though he has only picked 2 wickets in his last two games, we strongly feel he can turn around things in the next game.
In the English side, Adil Rashid is another important player to have in your fantasy teams. Like Chahal, Adil Rashid’s leg-spin has too proved handy for his nation and if the wicket for the 3rd game will assist spin (Eoin Morgan’s recent interview suggests red soil for the next game, meaning assistance to spin) the duo can bring in some crucial points.
The third player we have selected is Jofra Archer. His lethal pace along with occasional 6 hitting abilities have proved his value as a T20 player and should be a good buy. Archer has picked 4 wickets in the last two games which further adds to our reasons to pick him.
These were our picks for the 3rd T20. Hope this article helps you collect maximum points and helps you win in your Dream11 leagues.
