In a high scoring match, RR was to bat and scored a solid 216 on the back of fine performances by Steve Smith (69) and Sanju Samson (74). The slog over flourish by Jofra Archer delighted the fans. He played a brisk knock of 27 of only 8 balls.
In the chase, FAF DU PLESSIS made a valiant effort of 72 runs and Dhoni’s 3 sixes did not help CSK cross the finishing line.
CSK scored 200/6 at the stumps.
A good win by RR against a formidable side.
