The match 43 of IPL 2020 saw a tough contest between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).
Batting first, KXIP made a low target of 126/7. There was no firepower in their batting. N Pooran scored a maximum of 32 runs. Sandeep Sharma, J Holder and Rashid Khan took 2 wickets each.
While chasing, though a small total, the match went to the wire.
SRH’s S Watson scored a smart 35. However, KXIP bowlers kept tight all throughout.
SRH kept losing wickets at crucial moments and finally bit the dust.
Arshdeep Singh and CJ Jordan took 3 wickets each as SRH was restricted to 114/10.
KXIP won by 12 runs.
