The match 10 of IPL 2020 was fascinating with an epic battle between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Batting first, thanks to some impressive and amazing battling by AB de Villiers (55), AJ Finch (52) and D Padikkal (54), RCB put a total of 201.
While chasing, MI started on a wobbly note with opener Rohit Sharma (Captain) and Q de Kock getting out cheap.
However, a valiant partnership by young Ishan Kishan and KA Pollard took the match to the wire. The two kept the audiences entertained with their remarkable stroke-playing.
In the final battle, the last over was a roller coaster ride. Ishan Kishan hit 2 sixes in the last over, taking MI close to the winning runs. However, he got caught at the boundary scoring 99, missing his century.
Needing 5 runs in 1 ball and with Pollard at the crease, the match was set for a big finish.
Given his class, Pollard hit a boundary and took the match to a super-over.
In the super-over, Mumbai Indians gave a target of meager 8 runs to win the match.
Though a small total, still Bumrah made a match out of it making Kohli and de Villiers work hard for the desired runs. The match went to the decider last ball and finally, Kohli hit the winning runs.
