IPL 2022: Take A Look At The Top David Warner’s Smashes Against SRH

During the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner tried a ludicrous shot on way to his unbroken 92-run knock.

David Warner of the Delhi Capitals hit a magnificent unbroken 92, his highest total in the latest edition of the Indian Premier League. He played the innings at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai against his previous side Sunrisers Hyderabad. Warner hit 12 fours and three sixes on his way to 58-run innings.

Warner was at his explosive best throughout the innings, and he looked to be playing with a purpose after being released by Sunrisers Hyderabad at the end of the previous season. The Australian left-handed opener struck from the first delivery, and despite the DC losing a rush of wickets in the first few overs, Warner maintained one end and continued to punish the wayward deliveries, reaching his half-century in just 34 deliveries.

The 35-year-old Australian hitter proceeded to bash SRH bowlers all over the field, and in the final moments of the innings, he unleashed a bizarre shot that attracted the attention of social media users.

Warner, though, stated after the game that he did not require any additional incentive for this daring knock. Apart from his effort, Rovman Powell also performed admirably in the closing overs of the game, smashing 67 off 35 balls to help Delhi reach a big total of 207/3 after 20 overs.

When asked about the pitch, Warner stated that it was fantastic for batting and that anything around 200 would have been a nice score. He also let Rovman Powell have a strike in the penultimate over, despite the fact that he had the potential to make a magnificent century, which would have been his sixth in the IPL.
