Colin de Grandhomme retires from International cricket

A big and important update is coming in for all fans and admirers of Indian cricket ladies and gentlemen.

As per the latest media reports in ESPN CRICINFO, Colin de Grandhomme, who has been one of New Zealand’s finest all-rounders in the recent past has announced his retirement from International cricket. He reportedly revealed that factors like injuries and competition within the National side made him take the decision. His statement read,

“I accept I’m not getting any younger and that the training is getting harder, particularly with the injuries,” he said in a statement released by New Zealand Cricket. “I also have a growing family and am trying to understand what my future looks like post-cricket. All of this has been on my mind over the past few weeks. I’ve been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to play for the Black Caps since debuting in 2012, and I’m proud of my international career – but I feel this is the right time to finish.”

We wish him all the best going forward in his life. Let us know your views in the comments section below and for more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
