The third batsman to ever hit six sixes, before Kieron and Yuvraj, Herschelle Gibbwas the first-ever batsman to score 6 sixes in an international inning. As soon as his record, Yuvraj Singh, taking no time to reply, tweeted by saying “Welcome to the club”. The Sri Lankan bowler Akila Dananjaya was shattered as the batsman smashed the fifth over.

In the first T20I of the series, the West Indies bowlers limited Sri Lanka to a worse than average all out of 131 for nine in their 20 overs.
