Wrestler Sushil Kumar has been one of the most admired and appreciated wrestlers in the country. The man has made the country proud at an International level earlier during Olympics and other International tournaments and has been a gold medalist as well in different tournaments.
Some time back, Sushil Kumar got involved in an alleged murder case of young wrestler Sagar Dhankar. Reports in the media reveal that post the alleged incident, he was on the run away from police for quite a long time before he was finally nabbed by the police. And now, a big update is coming in ladies and gentlemen. As per the latest media reports in Hindustan Times, a Delhi court on Wednesday charged two-time Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar with murder in the death of former junior national wrestling champion Sagar Dhankar during a brawl over a property dispute in May 2021. Besides, 17 others have been slapped with murder, attempt to murder, rioting, unlawful assembly and other sections, including criminal conspiracy.
