The IPL retention policy is done and dusted and by now, all the franchises have officially announced whom they are keeping and whom they have let go off. One player who will no longer be playing for the PBKS franchise anymore is KL Rahul.
So, what does PBKS Head Coah Anil Kumble have to say about the same? As per reports in India Today, he was quoted as saying,
“Of course, the major challenge for us was Rahul. Obviously, we wanted to retain him. That’s one of the reasons we chose him as captain 2 years ago, so he could be the core of the team. But he decided to go into the auction, we respect that decision. It’s the players’ prerogative.”
