As per the latest reports in ESPN Cricinfo, Rashid Khan ha stepped down as Afghanistan cricket captain just moments after the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup was announced by the Taliban-controlled cricket board.
He cited that he was not consulted despite being the captain before selection of the final squad for the tournament.
