Victoria Lee, a rising star in mixed martial arts, died suddenly at 18. Her sister, Angela Lee, an MMA fighter herself, revealed the news on social media on Sunday, although the cause of her passing is unknown.
The day after Christmas, according to Angela, the 18-year-old went tragically. She wrote: “Our family experienced something no family should ever have to go through… It is incredibly difficult to say this… our Victoria passed away.”
“She passed away too young, and our family has been grieved ever since. She is missed. Than anything else in the world. Never again will our family be the same. Never again will life be the same.”
ONE Championship Official Statement
When Victoria was 16, the Singapore-based MMA organization ONE Championship signed her. “The ONE Championship team is devastated over the tragic passing of Victoria Lee. We send our most heartfelt condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time,” The MMA promoter issued in a formal statement.
Victoria sought to establish herself on the MMA circuit in the same way as her elder sisters, Christian and Angela. In 2021, she competed for the first time in the ONE Championship and went 3-0.
Devastated by her sister’s premature death, Angela continued to write: “We miss you so much, sis. More than you could ever realize. We’re all broken. Because a piece of you was in each of us, and when you left, those pieces were ripped out of us.”

Meanwhile, in the latter part of 2022, her sisters Christian and Anglea Lee competed for the championships. While Angela lost to Xiong Jing Nan, Christian went on to win the welterweight Championship.
