Sourav Ganguly has always been recognized as one of the finest visionaries of Indian cricket. Both he and MS dhoni have been two of India’s most successful skippers and they always look forward to the benefit of Indian cricket.
Recently, the BCCI announced that MS Dhoni will be present with the team for the tournament as the ‘mentor’ of the side. Spilling the beans about the appointment, he was quoted during an interaction with The Telegraph saying,
“It’s just to help the side in the World Cup. He has a good record in the T20 format for India and the Chennai Super Kings. There has been a lot of thought behind it. We discussed a lot and then decided to have him on board. We haven’t won an ICC trophy since 2013.”
