The Indian Premier Tournament (IPL) is a professional men’s Twenty20 cricket league in which 10 teams compete from ten different locations across India. The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) established the league in 2007. It takes place every year between March and May and has a special slot in the ICC Future Tours Programme.

Bolt, an electric vehicle infrastructure company, has been named the primary sponsor of the Delhi Capitals. Throughout the Indian Premier League’s current season, the Bolt brand emblem is displayed on the leading arm of the Delhi Capitals match jersey.

Jyotiranjan Harichandan, co-founder, Bolt said,

“As we extend our regional presence, the scope and reach of IPL provide a terrific platform for us to quickly create brand recognition and familiarity throughout the country.” This allows us to reach a broader audience with our low-cost, easy-to-use EV charging infrastructure, driving the adoption of electric vehicles across the country. We want to play a vital role in India’s transition to electric vehicles by establishing a nationwide EV charging network.”

Vinod Bisht, interim chief executive officer, Delhi Capitals added,

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome BOLT to the Delhi Capitals family.” Both companies share several qualities, including dynamic, young energy and a desire to make an impact. BOLT’s goal of a better, pollution-free world is inspiring, and we’re proud to be a part of it.”
